My Superbowl (Who) Prediction

The Who are scheduled to play some kind of medley at the Superbowl this afternoon. Here is my guess at which songs will be included:
--My Generation
--Pinball Wizard
--Won't Get Fooled Again
--Who Are You

I bet I get at least three of these four correct.

UPDATE:

I got 3 out of 4 right. They did:

--Pinball Wizard
--Baba O'Rielly
--Who Are You
--The intro to See Me Feel Me
--Won't Get Fooled

I was not terribly impressed by the performance. It was cool to see them do this, but they jumped the shark a while ago. I have been very impressed with the current lineup in certain situations and not so much in others, like today. Daltry's scream was pretty epic though! What did you all think?

More interestingly, what are your bottom 4 picks (not obscuria, but of their "hits", sleeper or otherwise)? I'd say:
1. Squeeze Box
2. Boris the Spider
3. Happy Jack
4. Babba O'Riley
runner up: Eminence Front

In fairness, I suppose the number of unlikely "hit" songs is just too numerous to mention, but I'm just amused by the image of The Who, in an act of defiance, playing Squeeze Box or Boris the Spider to 0.1 billion people live.

Kids today don't even know what pinball is...so I will substitute(no pun intended) Baba O Riley(an abbreviated version)instead of Pinball Wizard....and the rest I agree with.

What about Love Ain't For Keepin', Slip Kid, The Real Me and my personal fav Join Together?

Good thoughts. My dream obscurities would be Join Together, Another Tricky Day, Pure and Easy and Athena. Never gonna happen.

Mine are Baba O'Riley, Pinball Wizard, Tommy, Can You Hear Me?, Who Are You, and Won't Get Fooled Again

Hilarious to think of the mass confusion that this mini-set would create:

Dogs
Odorono
Little Billy
However Much I Booze

The game will be close, but the Saints are going to win. Final score: Saints 35 Colts: 33

How about the CSI theme music special?
Who Are You?
Won't Get Fooled Again
Baba O'Riley

My votes for the 4 songs are:
My Generation
Baba O'Riley
Pinball Wizard
Won't Get Fooled Again

Sean C that is fucking hilarious. Why not ramp it up a notch and do:

--Cousin Kevin
--Fiddle About
--Pictures of Lily
--How Can You Do It Alone

Or how about an Entwistle tribute:

--Heaven and Hell
--My Wife
--Had Enough
--905

isorski - I checked your blog to see what you thought of The Who's
performance. For a Super Bowl halftime show, it pretty much left me cold. Although, part of the reason might be that I didn't really connect with the songs. I like to know the music I'm listening to.

I actually liked the performance, despite the fact Daltry lost his voice years ago. I wonder what Pete thinks about Zak getting as much face time as him & Roger?

And was it just me, or did Roger sing:

Ever since I was a young boy
I've played the Superbowl

OK, I went back and listened to the beginning on Youtube, because I thought I heard Roger say:

Ever since I was a young boy
I've played the Superbowl.

He didn't. Blew a good opportunity.

I didnt think much of the performance. It was definitely rough around the edges especially the vocals. Someone else had an over/under on the windmills Pete would do. They were all guessing around 4 or 5 but he outdid that by a lot. I remember at one point that we could see he did 9 or 10 in a row. The light show was cool though.

I was let down by the performance. The weak mix didn't help any either. It was like someone decided to have Pete and Roger on 9and everyone else on 2.

Jump the Shark...?
