Can't See Rush Live This Tour? There Are Some Other Viewing Options!

I have been waiting for the official trailer to hit before posting anything about this but the guys who did the excellent Iron Maiden Flight 666 documentary have made one about Rush. Called "Beyond the Lighted Stage," it's the first official film about the band and it looks like it going to be kick ass. Oh, and those of you with VH1 and VH1 Classic can see it starting June 26th, just a few days before the start of Rush's Time Machine Tour. Below is the official trailer.

ALSO, according to the sleuths at RushIsABand.com, the also excellent Classic Albums series put out by Eagle Rock Entertainment is about to produce two 'making of's on Rush - for 2112 and Moving Pictures, both due this September. Sweet! Rush fans, have a great weekend. Lots to look forward to this year.

Can't wait! Wish I could go to the TriBeca film festival (in Manhattan) and see it firsthand but can't make it happen this weekend.

It's this kind of thing that makes me want to weep with joy. Also, to get Gene Simmons to say anything vaguely nice about any band other than Kiss (and about Rush in particular), strikes me as surreal.

Hi Isorski!

I'd love for you to listen to a couple songs for an up and coming rock band, would it be cool if I send you a couple songs over e-mail?

Jamie I'd love to hear them - do you have a MySpace or other link you can post here? I really don't want to deal w/email and attachments.

Jamie, they sound great - really excellent stuff. I have a few questions for you, so let's take this off line. Can you email me at isorwallobee@hotmail.com?

Thanks,
Paul
