Evel Knievel Dies at 69

The eBay value of your 1970s era wind up Evel Knievel motorcycle toy skyrocketed today as the foul mouthed crazy stuntman finally died.

What a week. First, loudmouth pop metal pioneer Kevin DuBrow and now Evel Knievel.

You beat me to it, Isorski. I grew up watching this guy, heck emulating him. Except I jumped matchboxes with my bike instead of school buses with my Harley. What a loss of a piece of Americana...

Hats off to Evel Knievel. "A man who certainly didn't need more courage, but could have benefited from a lot more physics."

The guy led such a strange and tragic life. Check out his wikipedia entry.
